Though a press conference is still forthcoming, Nebraska has officially announced that Scott Frost will be the next head coach of the football program.

It was reported during UCF’s AAC Championship Game against Memphis that Frost had agreed to a seven-year, $35 million deal with the Huskers. It was all but official after hearing Frost’s post-game comments following a thrilling 62-55 double-overtime win over Memphis.

Now, Nebraska has made it officially official. On Saturday evening, the official the Huskers’ official Twitter account tweeted out this awesome video, announcing Frost is “coming home” to Lincoln.

That might be the best welcome video you’ll see this season.

Frost is indeed coming home to a state where he was raised and to a program where he won a national championship. The Huskers are hoping he can restore glory in a proud program.

A press conference to introduce Frost as the head coach at Nebraska is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 3 at noon CT.
