Nebraska-Colorado was a dogfight a season ago.

Colorado ended up winning 33-28 and it led to a highly-anticipated game this Saturday between the two former Big 12 schools. Nebraska led 17-0 early in this game, but the Buffaloes came storming back to make it 17-14.

The last Colorado TD came early in the fourth quarter on a 96-yard flea-flicker. It was the longest scoring play in school history.

One play later, however, Nebraska RB Maurice Washington caught a pass and turned on the afterburners to glide 75 yards past the Colorado defense for a touchdown.

Washington has blazing speed. We knew this. But to see it in action is that much sweeter. Colorado has since scored and turned Nebraska over, though.

We’re in for a tight rest of the game. Nebraska-Colorado is being played on FOX.
