Scott Frost has won at just about every level as a player and a coach. He won a national championship as the Nebraska quarterback in the 1990s. Last year, he led UCF to an undefeated season and a Peach Bowl victory.

Although his first year in Lincoln didn’t go exactly as planned, Frost understands success.

That’s exactly why members of Nebraska volleyball wanted the head football coach to speak to the team. As the Huskers enter tournament play, they wanted an inspirational and motivational speech from one of the most beloved personalities on campus.

Frost delivered.

He might be asked to give more speeches to other teams on campus throughout the year after that one.

Nebraska’s volleyball is one of the best in the country, posting a 22-6 and ranked No. 6 in the country according to the AVCA coaches poll entering this week. They’ve got an opportunity to do something special in Lincoln.

Maybe Frost’s message will be what pushes them to the next level.
