It took seven games to get it, but Scott Frost finally has a win with the Cornhuskers.

Nebraska picked up a win over Minnesota in impressive fashion, though there were plenty of nerves in the second half. The team jumped out to a 28-0 lead behind Devine Ozigbo and Adrian Martinez and carried a big lead into the half.

Unfortunately, the Golden Gophers were not going to go away easily and came back with 14 points in the third quarter. That closed the gap to 28-22, but it was all Nebraska the rest of the way.

Following the win, Frost was treated to a Gatorade bath by some of his players. There is still plenty of work to be done after a 1-6 start to the season, but getting the first win behind them is a sweet feeling.

Huskers Illustrated shared the video of Frost’s shower:

During his post-game press conference, Frost jokingly called it “inappropriate.” However, it still had to feel good to get back in the win column.
