Scott Frost knows he’s got his work cut out for him at Nebraska.
Many see the instant success Frost had at UCF and expect the Huskers to be competing for B1G and national championships sooner rather than later. But the new head coach understands turning around a football program isn’t quite that easy. There’s no “quick fix” for a team that has struggled for quite some time.
Frost reiterated that point in a brief video following the first day of the early signing period. Frost said that Nebraska brought in some really good players, but the important thing is for them to “get to work” once they arrive on campus.
As of Thursday afternoon, Nebraska had 10 commits sign their letter of intent and still has three players listed as hard commits, per 247Sports. The Huskers’ recruiting class ranks 48th nationally and 11th in the B1G.
Here’s the message Frost had following signing day.
