Nebraska held a press conference on Aug. 18 regarding the NCAA’s investigation of improper use of analysts during contests and practices.

The violations don’t appear to be Level 1, with the comparison being to Kansas, which is facing Level II and Level III football violations for a similar situation, according to CBS Sports.

Nebraska also allegedly had unauthorized organized workouts at an off-campus location with strength and conditioning staff present while in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown, according to Action Network’s Brett McMurphy. Whether that will also be part of the investigation by the NCAA is yet to be known.

Here’s a sampling of what Nebraska AD Trev Alberts and Nebraska coach Scott Frost had to say at the press conference:

Nebraska begins the season with a matchup at Illinois on Aug. 28 (1 p.m. EST/FOX).
