What Scott Frost said at Nebraska's weekly press conference
It was a tough weekend for Scott Frost and Nebraska, losing 56-10 to Michigan in the B1G opener. The Huskers are now 0-3 on the season for the first time in seven decades and are 0-1 in B1G play.
There were plenty of questions for Frost following the Huskers’ dreadful performance in Ann Arbor, but the head coach said the tape wasn’t nearly as bad as he expected. He founds some key areas of improvement and things to address before this weekend’s matchup against Purdue.
Here’s what Frost had to say about last week’s lost to Michigan, the upcoming game against Purdue, Adrian Martinez’s status and more:
Scott Frost said Monday's practice was "great." Said film wasn't as bad as it looks. #huskers

Nebraska coach Scott Frost is unwavering in his belief that the system he's installed will work in Lincoln after an 0-3 start. "Summer's not here yet," Frost said. "But it's coming. Sooner or later, it's coming." https://t.co/pn6zLOQYPA pic.twitter.com/ILHDDPtu2v

Scott Frost said he's not going to be overly cautious in running Adrian Martinez. Said Martinez weighs what Frost did in college, thinks he can handle it. NU will call what it needs to call to win games. #huskers
