What Scott Frost said before important cross-division showdown vs. Michigan
Nebraska was able to put things together on Saturday and the Huskers were firing on all cylinders during their 56-7 win over Northwestern
The 56 point total was the most scored by the Huskers during a B1G game, and the incredible 664 yards of total offense was the most a Pat Fitzgerald coached Northwestern team has ever allowed.
The Huskers needed the win, and moved to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the B1G, and it was also a much needed victory for head coach Scott Frost.
Frost was able to finally see his team come together and execute on all facets of the game. Frost took to the podium to meet with the media on Monday afternoon to discuss the win, and preparations for hosting No. 8 Michigan this weekend.
Here is some of what Frost had to say.
Frost on the o-line: "The left side played really well."

Frost on Nebraska's option skills so far: "We're still about at a 6 out of 10, I'd say."

Frost on his team: "I think they see the formula now."

Scott Frost rates NU's option game a "six out of ten." Ball was on the ground. Martinez has "come a long way" in his ball handling. Option allows ball to be Martinez's hands without calling designed runs. #huskers

Frost on the atmosphere for Saturday's game vs Michigan: "We need noise, we need help. I hope the fans are as excited as we are."

Frost adds a joke, saying Osborne is at home working on T.O. action figures and bobbleheads. “I’m sure he hates this,” Frost says but notes that half of the proceeds from the apparel line go to support TeamMates, Osborne’s mentoring program. https://t.co/99Gfnhv9EM
