What Scott Frost said following Nebraska's loss to Purdue
Nebraska started the year 0-3.
Scott Frost hadn’t won a game yet as coach of the Huskers. Saturday against Purdue — at home — seemed like a prime time to get a win. Unfortunately for big red, that wasn’t the case.
Purdue’s offense was humming, as the Boilermakers went on to put up 42 points in the 42-28 defeat for the Huskers. Nebraska is now 0-4, with a game at Wisconsin up next.
The Badgers are coming off a bye and are likely to be up for the challenge, as Wisconsin already lost at home once this season — to BYU.
Statistically against Purdue, a couple Huskers had spectacular days, as RB Devine Ozigbo had 17 carries for 170 yards and 2 TD. Wide receiver J.D. Spielman also caught 10 passes for 135 yards and 2 TD.

Frost also said he has some "warriors" on this team; named Ben Stille as one. Said he will go to battle with players like that. #Huskers

"I'm going to ride with the guys who do it the right way … I'm tired of coaching an undisciplined team. I don't want to be the only one to put up with it," Frost said. #Huskers

Frost said he has an idea why the team is undisciplined but doesn’t want to say. It’s his team. “It all comes down to caring about doing things right.”

This may be the most passionate I've seen Frost since he's been here. Fired up. #Huskers

"He's a warrior, and I'll go to battle with him," Frost said of senior RB Devine Ozigbo. Said he played as much as he did because Washington missed practice all week with illness and Ozigbo practiced better than anyone else. #Huskers

"I appreciate the people of Nebraska so much," Frost said. "Nobody hates this more than I do."
