The available Michigan online casino license held by Hannahville Indian Community has been filled.

On Tuesday, the Michigan Gaming Control Board approved the launch of Hard Rock Bet Casino in the state. It’s official launch once again gives Michigan 15 online casino operators.

Hard Rock takes over the license left by SI Casino earlier this year. They will be working with the Hannahville Indian Community, which owns and operates Island Resort & Casino in Harris.

Hard Rock Bet Casino Launches in Second State

With clearance from the MGCB, Hard Rock Bet Casino is now available in its second state. It first debuted in New Jersey in 2023. Michigan also becomes the 10th state to offer Hard Rock Bet online sportsbook.

According to the press release from Hard Rock Digital, Michigan iGamers can expect to find thousands of different online slots at Hard Rock Bet MI. That will include progressive jackpots and exclusive games.

Hard Rock will also feature dozens of live dealer and table games.

Marlon Goldstein, Executive Managing Director-CEO of Hard Rock Digital, provided a statement on Hard Rock Bet’s launch in Michigan.

“This expansion represents a major milestone for Hard Rock Bet and reinforces our ascent as one of the fastest-growing digital gaming brands in the United States. Our launch in Michigan builds on our momentum as we bring the legendary Hard Rock experience to more fans across the country, offering a trusted online casino and sportsbook on our top-rated and easy-to-use platform.”

MGCB Signs Off on Hard Rock Bet MI

The launch of Hard Rock Bet Michigan wouldn’t be possible without regulatory approval from the MGCB.

The state’s regulatory board ensures that Hard Rock Bet will operate legally and fairly in the state of Michigan.

Henry Williams, MGCB Executive Director, issued a statement on the board giving approval to Hard Rock to operate in the state.

“This approval reflects our continued focus on maintaining integrity, transparency, and consumer protection in Michigan’s online gaming and sports betting space. We look forward to seeing the Hannahville Indian Community and Hard Rock provide a safe, responsible, and enjoyable wagering experience for players across the state — and especially for those served by one of Michigan’s long-standing tribal gaming operators in the Upper Peninsula.”

Hard Rock Bet is operated by Seminole Hard Rock Digital, LLC. It had to undergo thorough testing in order to receive regulator approval by the MGCB.
