Dusty May has picked up a prominent 7-footer for the 2026 recruiting class, landing an international prospect on Tuesday.

According to Joe Tipton with Rivals, Marcus Moller committed to Michigan as the first piece for the 2026 recruiting class. Moller is listed at 7-foot-3 and 230 pounds and hails from Denmark as a key building block for the cycle.

Moller is not just a traditional back-to-basket big man. Despite his size, Moller showcases an ability to move well without the ball and can space the floor.

He also has the ability to work well in pick-and-roll plays, even stepping out from 3-point range. Moller’s shooting stroke is enough to keep defenses honest, and he’s fluid when stepping into 3-pointers during transition.

The 2-big system that May employed last season with Danny Wolf and Vladislav Goldin was a major success for the Wolverines, and it has tantalizing potential for future prospects. While Michigan did not sign a high school big man in the 2025 recruiting class, May did find replacements in the transfer portal.

Yaxel Lendeborg, the top-rated transfer player this offseason, bypassed the NBA Draft in favor of one final college season at Ann Arbor. A versatile 6-foot-9 forward, Lendeborg will be a key piece in the offense. The Wolverines also signed 6-foot-9 power forward Morez Johnson Jr. and 7-foot-3 center Aday Mara from UCLA.
