Jackson Shelstad has reportedly made a decision on his future.

Shelstad had a very good sophomore season for Oregon, as he averaged 13.7 points per game, which was 2nd on the team. Like many talented players all across the country, there had some been questions on whether or not he would be back in Eugene.

However, those questions have been answered, and coach Dana Altman and all Oregon fans across the country will be happy to find out that Shelstad will once again be rocking the Ducks jersey next year.

That’s according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel:

Shelstead would have been a hot commodity in the transfer portal if he would have decided to leave. He figures to be on of the better returning players in the B1G, and gives the Ducks a chance to make it back to the NCAA Tournament in 2026.

The transfer portal is in full effect right now in college basketball, as teams are looking to build their rosters for next season. While much of the talk is about where players are transferring to, it is equally as important for teams to be able to keep players who have been successful in their own program.
