The 2025-26 college basketball season has come to an end, and what a season it was.

Dusty May and the Michigan Wolverines secured the Big Ten’s first national championship since 2000 on Monday night, downing Dan Hurley and the seemingly unbeatable UConn Huskies by a score of 69-63. Michigan’s 2026 NCAA Tournament run was as dominant as it gets: The Wolverines downed Alabama, Tennessee and Arizona by double digits, then held off the Huskies’ violent late push to take home the title.

The 2026 tournament had tons and tons of great moments, including Otega Oweh’s buzzer beater against Santa Clara, Braylon Mullins’ last-second miracle shot against Duke, Skyy Clark’s broken tooth and High Point’s first-round upset of Wisconsin. All those and more great moments were captured in this year’s One Shining Moment montage.

Here’s a look at this year’s version, in all its glory. The ball is tipped…

9 Big Ten teams made the Big Dance this season, with Illinois and obviously Michigan advancing to the Final Four. Of course, all 9 teams are included in the montage above.

College basketball has changed a lot over the years, but the NCAA Tournament still hits exactly the same, each and every year.
