All-America honors are beginning to trickle out, and nearly a dozen B1G players have received recognition from Sports Illustrated.
This week, Sports Illustrated published its list of first- and second-team All-Americans for the 2019 season. There were 11 B1G players who were selected.
Ohio State led the way with four selections, followed by Wisconsin and Minnesota, which each had two players mentioned. Penn State, Iowa and Purdue all had one player receive honors. Below are the 11 B1G players that received the recognition from Sports Illustrated.

- OL: Wyatt Davis, Ohio State
- RB: J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
- TE: Brycen Hopkins, Purdue
