11 B1G players named to Wuerffel Trophy Watch List

Nearly a dozen B1G players have been named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List heading into the 2021 season. The list was released on Thursday.
The Wuerffel Trophy “honors college football players who serve others, celebrate their impact, and inspire greater service in the world.” It is the first major award that honors the character of service.
A total of 11 players from the B1G were named to the watch list. Northwestern was the only program from the conference to have multiple selections.
Here’s the list of B1G players to make the cut:

Michael Ziemba, Indiana
Kaevon Merriweather, Iowa
Brian Cobbs, Maryland
Tanner Morgan, Minnesota
Ben Stille, Nebraska
Joe Spivak, Northwestern
Ryan Hilinski, Northwestern
Harry Miller, Ohio State
Sean Clifford, Penn State
Faion Hicks, Wisconsin
