There are some great defenses around the country, but the B1G is home to the 2 highest graded ones in the country by PFF. Their grades were posted about by the PFF College account on Twitter.

Michigan and Iowa have been dominating on defense. Iowa has the highest grade of the two with a 93.5. The Wolverines aren’t far behind them and have a 93.1.

Iowa is allowing an average of 5.8 points per game on defense (1st in B1G), while Michigan has allowed an average of 11 (4th in B1G).

When it comes to total yards allowed per game, both teams are top 5 in the B1G for that stat as well. Iowa’s defense has the 3rd-fewest total yards allowed per game (236.8) and Michigan has the 4th-fewest (244.8).

The two high-powered defenses will be facing off to see who’s is better on Saturday.

Michigan and Iowa kick off at noon ET on FOX.
