After committing to Nebraska in April, Tulsa product Thomas Grayson has decided to reopen his recruitment. The 3-star 2019 running back recruit made the announcement via his Twitter account.

“After talking with (running backs coach Ryan) Held and (offensive coordinator Troy) Walters I will be de-committing from Nebraska and re-opening my recruitment,” Grayson wrote in a note attached to his tweet. “I appreciate all the love and support from Husker Nation.”

Grayson measures 6-foot, 190 pounds. The 247Sports Composite rates him as the No. 86 running back and No. 12 recruit out of Oklahoma in 2019 class. No other B1G schools have offered Grayson so far, but Power 5 schools Syracuse, Tennessee and Texas Tech are recruiting him.

With Grayson’s decommitment, the Huskers will be down to 15 total pledges, but should be fine at the running back position as Rahmir Johnson and Ronald Thompkins remain in the class.
