2022 3-star cornerback Audavion Collins, who hails from Newton High School in Covington, Georgia, released his top-five schools on Twitter Sunday and it is a list that includes two B1G programs, Indiana and Michigan State, as well as the Central Florida Knights, Mississippi State Bulldogs and Tennessee Volunteers.

Per the industry-generated Composite, Collins is the No. 1,217 player nationally, the No. 111 cornerback, and Georgia’s 105th-best prospect in the recruiting cycle.

The good news for Tom Allen and Mel Tucker is they will not have to wait long to find out if their staff sealed the deal with the 6-foot, 165-pounder, as Collins will announce his commitment on Wednesday, August 25.

Michigan State currently holds two of the four Crystal Ball Predictions, with Mississippi State owning the other two.

Among their 19 current 2022 commits, the Spartans currently hold the verbal pledge of two other cornerbacks, Tre Holloman from Saint Paul, Minnesota and Ade Willie from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, both of whom are fellow 3-stars.

The Hoosiers’ upcoming class is smaller at 14 current commits, but also features two other cornerbacks, both residing in the state of Florida, 4-star Trevell Mullen from Pompano Beach and 3-star James Monds III from Vero Beach.
