The first round of the 2022 NFL Draft wrapped up Thursday with 7 B1G stars coming off the board. That group was headlined by Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson and a host of talented receivers in a wild opening round in Las Vegas.
When the draft resumes on Friday, a number of key prospects remain available, including a number of players that previously earned first-round grades. ESPN analyst Steve Muench also unveiled a mock draft for Round 2 featuring 7 B1G stars. (Muench’s full Round 2 mock requires an ESPN+ subscription)
In particular, Muench has a trio of B1G pass-rushers coming off the board Friday. He also has Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker III joining a dynamic QB and Super Bowl contender.
Here are the B1G players in Muench’s Round 2 projections:
- No. 37 Houston Texans: Arnold Ebiketie, DE, Penn State
- No. 40 Seattle Seahawks: Boye Mafe, OLB, Minnesota
- No. 52 Pittsburgh Steelers: David Ojabo, OLB, Michigan
- No. 54 New England Patriots: Cam Taylor-Britt, S, Nebraska
- No. 57 Buffalo Bills: Kenneth Walker III, RB, Michigan State
- No. 59 Green Bay Packers: Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio State
- No. 61 San Francisco 49ers: Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State
