247 Sports analyst Josh Pate – also known as “Late Kick Josh” – recently completed his B1G preview entering 2022.

As a part of that show, Pate reiterated he is a “believer” in Jim Harbaugh’s squad this season and doubled down on the program as a top-5 team for 2022:

“I’m a huge believer in Michigan this year. We’ve got them as the 4th team in the country,” Pate explained.

Pate went on to describe why he is big on the Wolverines, including a host of talented players returning. He also sees an offense that could surprise folks with the pieces they have:

“Everyone wants to talk about who you lose, and for good reason,” said Pate. “Michigan lost some really good players, but that over/under win total sits at 9.5 because No. 1, they got a lot of good ones coming back, and No. 2, it’s a very winnable schedule.

“I’m a camp of who do they have, and what they got is a very enviable position at quarterback, ditto at the RB position, this is the deepest stable at wide receivers they’ve had… (They) could be one of the sneakiest best offenses in the country this year.”

Can the Wolverines make a return win to the College Football Playoff? Pate sure believes the team has all the pieces needed.
