Penn State is looking to put together another top-10 recruiting class under James Franklin. According to Steve Wiltfong – National Recruiting Director for 247 Sports – another pair of elite prospects could be added to Penn State’s 2023 recruiting class this week.
“I think they’re going to land 2 terrific defensive pieces,” Wiltfong said in reference to a pair of 4-star prospects. Those players are LB Tony Rojas and Edge Ta’Mere Robinson. “They already have the No. 1 offensive line class in the country in my opinion.”
Wiltfong especially spoke for some time on Rojas, an elite linebacker prospect out of Virginia.
“(Rojas) is one of the fastest players in the country at the position,” Wiltfong explained. “He’s rangy, he’s athletic, he’s super quick and agile. He can cover…would be a massive pickup for James Franklin and company.”
Penn State is trending for 2 major defensive pieces in the coming weeks.
