247Sports released a graphic on Thursday showing what each B1G schools average national recruiting class ranking has been in the last 5 years. Only 3 of the schools have hit a certain milestone recently.
Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan have all had a Top 15 average national recruiting class ranking in the last 5 years. The Buckeyes led the way with an average ranking of 5.4, while Penn State and Michigan have averaged 12 and 12.4 recently. Penn State and Ohio State are already on schedule with the class of 2023. The Nittany Lions have the No. 3 overall class and the Buckeyes are No.5. Michigan is the only 1 of the 3 that isn’t inside the Top 15, and is sitting at No.31 currently.

- Nebraska: 24.2
- Maryland: 31
- Wisconsin: 32.4
- Iowa: 33.8
- Michigan State: 35.4
- Minnesota: 41.6
- Purdue: 44.2
- Indiana: 44.8
- Rutgers: 50.6
- Northwestern: 50.8
- Illinois: 62.6
