3 B1G standouts among highest graded Power 5 offensive linemen

Big Ten standouts have graded as 3 of the 4 top Power 5 offensive linemen since the start of the season.

Wisconsin’s Trey Wedig, Northwestern’s Peter Skoronski and Minnesota’s John Michael Schmitz all graded out on PFF’s scale above a 90. Wedig had the highest overall score with a 94.4.

This isn’t exactly surprising. Wisconsin, Iowa and all other Midwest schools have a stereotype of having strong tight end and offensive line play.

That seems to be backed up by the stats this year.
