As invites for the 2023 Senior Bowl are being accepted, 3 Maryland players will represent the Terps in Mobile, Ala.

According to Emmett Siegel, defensive back Jakorian Bennett, offensive tackle Jaelyn Duncan and kicker Chad Ryland are all expected to play in the Senior Bowl on Feb. 4. at Hancock Whitney Stadium. The B1G is expected to be highly represented in the all-star game prior to Super Bowl week.

Duncan likely is the highlight prospect scouts will be enticed with when it comes to first-round chatter. Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 320 pounds, Duncan has the size, agility, and upside general managers covet in potential franchise left tackles.

Bennett, a 2-year starter, has totaled 36 total tackles and 9 pass deflections in 9 games. Last season, the 5-foot-11 defender totaled a career-high 11 pass deflections to go along with 24 tackles.

Ryland, likely 1 of 2 kickers who will be invited to the game, has made 11 of 15 field goals this season, including pair of 50+ kicks against Michigan State and Michigan, respectively. A transfer from Eastern Michigan, Ryland has made 75.3% of his kicks since 2018.

The Terps will play host to Ohio State before closing out the season against Rutgers.
