4-star 2023 OL out of Michigan names 4 B1G teams in top 8

West Bloomfield IOL Amir Herring is one of the top 2023 recruits in the state of Michigan. Herring has picked up 22 scholarship offers in his college recruitment. On Monday, he shared that 8 teams have separated themselves from the rest of the pack.

Herring is showing a strong interest in playing in the Big Ten. Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska and Penn State are in his top group, along with Boston College, Cincinnati, Missouri and Pittsburgh. He visited PSU on March 30. Nebraska was among the most recent offers back in January.

Listed at 6-3, 280 pounds, Herring is rated 4-stars, the No. 4 Michigan product, No. 9 IOL and No. 211 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. Maryland and Purdue are among his other offers outside the top 8.
