Over the past six months, Ernest Udeh, Jr. has risen from outside the top 150 of the 2022 recruiting class to becoming a 5-star prospect with offers from top schools in the country.
The 6-foot-10 center has listed his final ten teams he is considering, with Michigan joining the likes of Alabama, Baylor, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Miami, Overtime Elite, Tennessee, and UCLA.
The Orlando, Florida native has a range of ratings from the various recruiting services. Udeh is rated a 5-star prospect from 247Sports, but ESPN has him ranked as a 4-star and Rivals lists him as a 3-star. The industry-generated composite rankings have Udeh as a 4-star recruit and the 56th overall prospect for the cycle.
Regardless of rating, Udeh has talent and will be a force down low for somebody.

While the list has been trimmed, Udah has yet to give any indication of which program will be his top choice.
Udeh had a strong summer playing for Southeast Elite, and he attributes much of the attention he is getting from the performance, as the additional exposure after experiencing being a Covid-senior has given him a boost.
A traditional big guy down low, Udeh has tremendous athleticism and the ability to finish above the rim.
