4-star DE trims list to Top 6, still considering 3 B1G teams

Three B1G teams are still in consideration for one of the best weak-side defensive ends in the 2021 recruiting class.

On Tuesday, TJ Bollers, a native of Tiffin, Iowa, narrowed his list of potential landing spots down to six schools. B1G teams make up half that list, with Wisconsin, Northwestern and Nebraska making the cut. The three non-B1G programs still in the mix are Alabama, Iowa State and Cal.

Bollers made his announcement using a graphic on Twitter.

Per 247Sports, Bollers is one of the top 150 players in the 2021 recruiting class. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive end ranks No. 140 nationally and is the second-best player out of the state of Iowa. He’s also listed as the seventh-best weak-side defensive end of the cycle.

Bollers has received offers from 18 programs during the recruiting process.
