Nebraska’s defensive line just added a little more talent and depth.
Monday night, four-star junior college defensive tackle Jahkeem Green committed to Nebraska following his official visit to campus over the weekend. According to 247Sports, Green’s pledge was confirmed by Highland Community College head coach Judd Remmers.
Green had several SEC offers, including South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Nebraska was the only B1G school to provide the defensive tackle with an offer.
Assuming Green completes his coursework at Highland Community College, he will be immediately eligible to play for the Huskers in 2019.
In two years at Highland Community College, Green totaled 116 tackles. Last season, he registered 67 stops and 2.5 sacks at defensive tackle. Based on his production at the junior college level, Green is a four-star prospect and is ranked as the No. 18 overall junior college prospect in the 2019 class.
Nebraska’s 2019 recruiting class ranked 18th nationally and fourth in the B1G.
