NFL veteran Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones was really impressed by four-star Michigan commit Andre Seldon when he got the opportunity to coach him in the Under Armour All-America Game. He couldn’t help but give the cornerback some major praise.
Seldon was one of several high-caliber prospects to play in the Under Armour All-America Game. He was a member of Team Pressure and recorded three tackles and a pass break-up in his team’s 30-24. After his performance, Jones referred to Seldon as “the real deal.”
“Very coachable,” Jones said in an interview with MLive.com. “He’s a good kid. He reminds me a lot of me, you know? A smaller corner who’s willing to compete every play.”
Jones also said Seldon was “one of the smartest players” to play in the Under Armour All-America Game. Jones served as one of three defensive back coaches for Team Pressure for the game.
Seldon is a four-star cornerback from Belleville, Michigan. According to 247Sports, he’s ranked as the No. 16 cornerback and No. 233 overall in the 2020 recruiting class. He’s also listed as the No. 5 player from the state of Michigan.
Jones is a former NFL Pro Bowler and had a 14-year career at the professional level. So for Jones to call Seldon a younger version of himself is pretty high praise.
Seldon is one of a handful of Michigan commits from the 2020 class to be expected to enroll early.
