Penn State running back target Nicholas Singleton has set a commitment date.
Singleton will make his commitment on Tuesday, he announced. He’ll be choosing between Penn State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Texas A&M.

The Nittany Lions certainly have an advantage in proximity. Singleton attends Governor Mifflin High School in Reading, Pennsylvania.
He’s listed at 6-foot, 210 pounds. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Singleton is the No. 98 overall player and the No. 6 running back for the class of 2022.
If Penn State is able to land Singleton, he would add to its already-impressive recruiting class. Right now, the Nittany Lions’ 2022 class has 12 commitments and is ranked No. 8 nationally and No. 2 in the Big Ten, per 247SportsComposite rankings.
Five of those 12 commitments are from in-state prospects. He would be Penn State’s first running back commitment in this class.
Singleton will announce his decision on July 6.
