Greene’s prior list included Tennessee, Florida State, Michigan, Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, and Notre Dame. Greene reportedly has offers from 57 schools.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Greene ranks as the No. 87 overall player in the 2022 class. He is also the No. 12 wide receiver and the No. 3 recruit from the state of Virginia.
Should Greene pick the Nittany Lions, he would be the fourth-highest-rated commit currently for Penn State’s recruiting class. Penn State currently holds commitments from three of the nation’s top-85 prospects for 2022, headlined by 4-star DL Dani Dennis-Sutton.
