The B1G is well represented yet again on ESPN’s All-America team.
This year, the conference had 5 players named to that team and it starts with Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker III at running back. He was dynamite for the Spartans this year and finishes with 1,636 rushing yards along with 18 touchdowns.
David Bell of Purdue got the nod at wide receiver after another tremendous season. He showed up time and time again in big moments, which included 560 yards and two touchdowns against top-5 opponents.
Tyler Linderbaum got the honor at center and he looks poised to be a 1st rounder in next year’s NFL Draft. He was named the B1G offensive lineman of the year this season after only allowing four quarterback pressures all year.
This list, however, is headlined by Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson. He looks poised to be a top 5 pick in next year’s draft after he had 58 tackles and 14 sacks. He was also named B1G defensive player of the year.
Finally, Noah Ruggles of Ohio State got on the team for special teams after he made 18-of-19 field goals this season.
