Peyton Bowen is not going to the B1G, but his recruiting story is one of the wildest of the season so far. It goes to prove that nothing is ever finished until the pen hits the paper.
Bowen, a 5-star safety out of Denton, Texas, committed to Oregon on Early Signing Day. It seemed he was set to sign with the Ducks until Thursday afternoon, when he announced he would be committing to Oklahoma instead. He originally flipped from Notre Dame to Oregon, making this his 2nd flip.
Bowen is the No. 13 overall prospect in the Class of 2023.
