One of the best recruits in the 2022 recruiting class regardless of position has de-committed from Oklahoma.

Luther Burden announced via his Twitter page on Tuesday afternoon that after discussing with his family, he has decided to open up his recruitment again.

With Burden gone from Oklahoma, a lot of schools who missed on him before he committed to the Sooners will now have another shot at landing him. That includes Ohio State, which has recruited his hometown of St. Louis very well historically. The Buckeyes offered him in April of 2020.

Per 247Sports Composite rankings, Burden is the top receiver in the 2022 recruiting class and the 5th ranked player in the country. Other than Ohio State, there’s also Georgia and Missouri who seem to be after him, according to Steve Wiltfong. Burden has visited Athens and he’s also been to Columbia to pay the Tigers a few visits as well.

There’s been no set time for Burden’s recruitment to end.
