6 B1G stars headline PFF’s Team of the Week following Week 8 action

Pro Football Focus has released their Team of the Week following the latest college football slate and as expected, the B1G is well represented.

At running back, the honor goes to Chase Brown who was electric for Illinois against Penn State. He finished with 223 yards and 1 touchdown on the ground as the Nittany Lions defense had no answer for him.

For EDGE, the nod went to Aidan Hutchinson as he was a monster for the Wolverines yet again this season. Hutchinson finished with 3 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and 1 pass defended in the win over Northwestern.

He’s shaping up to be picked in the top 5 of next year’s NFL Draft with the numbers he’s putting up thus far.

  • TE: Ko Kieft, Minnesota
  • C: Luke Wypler, Ohio State
  • RG: Paris Johnson Jr., Ohio State
  • Edge: Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan
  • S: Coco Azema, Northwestern

Additionally, Ohio State’s offensive line was also named the Offensive Line of the Week. Each starter earned a grade of above 70.0 with 3 of them over 83.0.
