7 B1G teams ranked in AP basketball poll

The B1G is asserting itself as the best conference in college basketball and folks across the country are really noticing.

On Monday, the most recent Associated Press poll was released, with seven B1G teams ranked in the top 25. That’s more than any other conference. The ACC had the next-highest total, having five teams ranked.

Michigan and Michigan State remain in the top 10 this week, leading the way for the conference. Ohio State and Wisconsin came inside the top 20 and Indiana, Iowa and Nebraska rounded out the field.

Here’s how the seven B1G teams — otherwise known as half the conference — ranked in the latest Associated Press poll:

• No. 4 Michigan (11-0)
• No. 10 Michigan State (9-2)
• No. 15 Ohio State (9-1)
• No. 16 Wisconsin (9-2)
• No. 22 Indiana (9-2)
• No. 23 Iowa (8-2)
• No. 25 Nebraska (9-2)
