No. 3 Ohio State announced its inactive list heading into Saturday’s highly anticipated matchup against visiting No. 9 Indiana (12 p.m. EST/FOX).
Ohio State is back on the field after last week’s game was canceled due to COVID-19 issues at Maryland.
Seven Ohio State players, including starting kicker Blake Haubeil (groin), will be out against Indiana. Haubeil is the lone Ohio State starter that won’t be playing.
This is the second straight game Haubeil will sit out. Haubeil sustained the injury in Week 2 against Penn State. During his career, Haubeil has converted 24 of his 29 field-goal attempts and all of his extra-point attempts.
Freshman Jake Seibert will replace Haubeil as Ohio State’s kicker. Should he be called on for a field goal attempt, it will be Seibert’s first career try. He is currently 7-for-7 on extra points but it still waiting for his first shot at three points.
Here are the other inactive players as shared by 11 Warriors:
- CB Cameron Brown
- DL Jacolbe Cowan
- WR Jaylen Harris
- TE Jake Hausmann
- S Kourt Williams
- DB Lloyd McFarquhar
Ohio State leads the all-time series 75-12-5 vs. Indiana and is currently on a 24-game winning streak against the Hoosiers. ESPN analyst Mark Sanchez is forecasting that Ohio State will blow out upstart Indiana.
