Rutgers defensive end Aaron Lewis was named Pro Football Focus’ Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in a 14-13 loss to Nebraska on Friday evening. Lewis was 1 of 8 B1G players listed as members of PFF’s Team of the Week following Week 6

Lewis shined for the Scarlet Knights’ defensive line against the Cornhuskers’ offensive line. He registered 10 pressures from 38 pass-rushing opportunities and was proactive in terms of defending the run. Rutgers allowed Nebraksa to total just 72 yards rushing yards, 47 of which came from leading rusher Anthony Grant.
Stroud continued to boost his Heisman-worthy numbers in a 49-20 victory over Michigan State. The junior went 21-of-26 passing for 361 yards and 6 touchdowns. Currently, Stroud leads the FBS in passing touchdowns with 24.
Dike excelled in the Badgers’ win over Northwestern at Ryan Field. Working with quarterback Graham Mertz, the Badgers’ receiver totaled 10 catches for 185 yards and 3 touchdowns. Latu also looked sharp on defense, recording 3 tackles and a pair of interceptions in coverage.
