Recently, a high school football team in Anaheim, California lost all of its equiment in a storage fire. The incident happened in mid-July, meaning the team had no equipment with just a month until the season started.
Catching wind of the storage fire, the Los Angeles Chargers decided to help the high school out.
The Chargers hosted the football team for a practice, allowing the high school players to watch a bit of camp and interact with players, coaches and front office staff. Then, the franchise decided to make a $10,000 monetary donation to assist with the cost of purchasing new equipment.
