A climate change protest halted Saturday’s Harvard-Yale game

Saturday’s Ivy League action between the Yale Bulldogs and the Harvard Crimson at the Yale Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut was delayed during halftime by protesters demanding the two universities divest from fossil fuels.
According to ESPN, the game was delayed for 48 minutes as police and stadium security officials worked to clear the field.
Joel Sherman, a baseball columnist for the New York Post and a regular on MLB Network, was at the game:

Once all the chaos was sorted out, the game gave the home crowd all they could have hoped for.
In a game featuring a combined 54 points in the third and fourth quarters, Yale held off Harvard, 50-43, in double-overtime.
Improving to 9-1 overall, the Bulldogs finished second in the Ivy League at 6-1. Yale tied with the Dartmouth Big Green for the best record in the conference at 6-1, but lost the head-to-head matchup, 42-10, in Hanover on October 12.
As for Harvard, the Crimson came in sixth in the league at 2-5. Wrapping up their regular season at 4-6, Harvard ends the year on a five-game losing streak.
