Nebraska fans may have to wait until the start of the 2019 season to see big-time recruit Wandale Robinson and a few other key players, as they’ll likely miss Saturday’s spring game.

Robinson might be the most significant absence from the spring game, as people were hoping to see the former four-star all-purpose back for the first time in a Nebraska uniform. The freshman is recovering from a hamstring injury that will probably keep him sidelined.

The Huskers will also be without running back Maurice Washington, who will be in court in California. Linebacker Nick Henrich will also be absent due to injury. According to Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald, Henrich is expected to have surgery but the hope is to return around fall camp.

Nebraska is hosting its spring game at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon. It will be the second spring game under head coach Scott Frost.

The Huskers finished last season 4-8.
