Ohio State is replacing the turf playing surface inside Ohio Stadium this offseason. The Buckeyes previously enlisted the help of fans to submit potential designs for that new turf.
Now, fans can also get the chance to buy a piece of turf from inside the Horseshoe. Ohio State announced on Thursday the “Own a piece of the ‘Shoe” initiative where fans can sign up for a chance to buy sections of the turf used from 2014-21.
All fans need to do is enter their information to be notified when the sale goes live. Prices or how big of a piece one can buy have not been released.
Over the course of the old playing surface, Ohio State went 93-11 with a CFP National Championship. The Buckeyes also went 3-0 against Michigan during the life of the old playing service.
