During Ohio State’s 31-20 victory over Michigan, senior Buckeye quarterback J.T. Barrett went down with what everyone thought was a non-contact injury on a scramble.
However, Barrett’s injury didn’t occur on the field. It actually occurred on the sideline according to Ohio State coach Urban Meyer.
Oh boy. Urban Meyer said a cameraman on a crowded sideline caused JT Barrett’s injury and he’s going to find out who it was.

Apparently, according to Meyer, Barrett’s injury was caused by a cameraman on the crowed Ohio State’s sideline. And the story gets even crazier from there.
FOX 19’s Jeremy Rauch spoke with someone who saw what happened with Barrett and they viewed what happened as malicious, not accidental.

Barrett’s original knee injury happened during the Indiana game. However, even before Barrett left the game against Michigan, his teammates saw him limping.
Barrett said he originally twisted his knee vs Indiana. Today, he got hurt on sideline on Michigan’s first possession.

The incident on the sideline, at least according to multiple reports, seems to be the cause of Barrett’s injury. However, there was no evidence to support Meyer’s claim that the incident occurred intentionally or maliciously.
