Cornhuskers quarterback Adrian Martinez had to leave the game early against Michigan State.
Martinez took a big hit on 3rd down but ended up walking out under his own power.
Adrian Martinez down after taking the big hit. Remember, Nebraska only traveled three QBs for tonight. Logan Smothers and Matt Masker also here.

Martinez came off on his own. #Huskers punting, so the fourth-year starter will have a bit of time to recover if it isn't serious.

Martinez has since been transferred to the locker room for further evaluation:

***UPDATE*** Martinez was reinserted to action with just over a minute remaining in the first quarter. Hopefully, he is able to finish the night on the field.
If Martinez is ruled out for the game, it would be a big hit to their chances of winning as he’s been their best player on offense this season. He came into this game with 1,017 yards passing with 5 touchdowns to 1 interception.
Martinez didn’t attempt a throw on that drive as the Cornhuskers ran only running plays.
The game is currently still in the 1st quarter and it’s being televised by FS1.
