Ohio State is rolling right now after beating Indiana 54-7 last night on the road in Bloomington. The Buckeyes are 6-1, 4-0 in B1G play, and their only loss is to No. 9 Oregon.

QB C.J. Stroud has been excellent for the Buckeyes. He has played in 6 games with the team he sat out the Akron game with a shoulder injury. In those 6 games is 125-of-185 for a 67.6% completion rate, throwing for 1,965 yards, 22 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

Stroud was excellent against Indiana as he was 21-of-28 for a 75% completion rate, throwing for 266 yards, 4 touchdowns and o interceptions.

At the beginning of the season, Stroud was not as confident as he is now. After some early-season struggles, the young quarterback leaned on his team for support.

Griffin Strom of elevenwarriors.com provides more context:

The Buckeyes will need Stroud to keep his confidence elevating as they still have all 3 of the East contenders on the horizon.

They are vs. No. 7 Penn State, vs.  vs. No. 9 Michigan State and at No. 6 Michigan.

The Buckeyes play host to No. 7 Penn State next week at 7:30 ET on ABC.
