After dropping 49 on Minnesota, Ben Mason says ‘sky is the limit’ for Michigan offense

It was reported that Ben Mason made an impassioned speech prior to leading the Michigan Wolverines from the locker room to take the field against Minnesota on Saturday.
It worked.
Mason, listed on the roster as a running back, is utilized as a fullback in the backfield and had a strong opener against the Gophers. He dominated as a lead blocker, and scored his first career receiving touchdown.
The Wolverines rushing attack totaled 253 yards on 31 carries, for an average of 8.2 yards per attempt and five touchdowns. Ironically, Mason didn’t gain a single yard on the ground, but Michigan coach Harbaugh still emphasized that he was still a critical part of the day’s success.
“I don’t know how many guys he knocked on their back, but, I mean, it was pretty significant — five to eight, maybe,” Harbaugh said. “He was tremendous.”
For their effort, Mason and the Wolverine’s four running backs – Zach Charbonnet, Hassan Haskins, Chris Evans and Blake Corum — were named the offensive players of the game
Mason has issued a warning to future opponents – there is more to come.
