It took quite awhile but Shaun Wade is finally off the board in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Baltimore Ravens selected the Ohio State cornerback in the fifth round, with the No. 160 overall pick.

Wade bypassed the opportunity to turn pro in 2020 and his last impression as a college football player was allowing Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith to collect 12 receptions, 215 yards, and three touchdowns in the first half of the national championship game.

Wade was a consensus All-American and captain for Ohio State in 2020. Additionally, Wade was named the Tatum-Woodson Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year in 2020.

Overall, Wade appeared in 35 games and amassed 91 tackles, two sacks, and six interceptions.

Wade is the eighth Ohio State player selecting in the 2021 NFL Draft, joining Justin Fields, Pete Werner, Wyatt Davis, Trey Sermon, Baron Browning, Tommy Togiai, and Luke Farrell.
