The 2019 season was Peter Rossomando’s first at Rutgers and he spent it as the Scarlet Knights’ offensive linemen coach.
Rutgers had a 2-10 season and finished 0-9 in Big Ten play. Rossomando, during that campaign, apparently did a good enough job to warrant attention from another Power Five school — Vanderbilt.

On Saturday night, it was announced that the Commodores added three new coaches to their staff and Rossomando was one of them:

He is filling the Commodores’ void at offensive lineman coach, thus switching from the Big Ten to SEC acting in the same position.
Prior to his time at Rutgers, Rossomando was the head coach at Central Connecticut State from 2014-18.
