Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor exploded for a 23-yard touchdown during the 2nd quarter against the Miami Dolphins.

The Colts were down 3-0 on their third drive of the day, and after a 29-yard catch by Mo Alie-Cox, Taylor hit a huge hole on the left side of the line and took it into the end zone for his first touchdown of the season.

Taylor has been dealing with injuries, and it’s been a slow start on the season for the former Wisconsin Badger. But Taylor has been a workhorse for the Colts on early downs, splitting time with Nyheim Hines. Through three weeks, Taylor holds a 75% share of the rushing duties for the Colts, with 42 carries for 171 rushing yards.

At the end of the third quarter against the Dolphins, Taylor had 11 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown. He also had 3 catches for 11 yards — the Colts held a 17-3 lead as well.
