Aidan Hutchinson, George Karlaftis lead all NFL rookies in key defensive stat through Week 6

Aidan Hutchinson and George Karlaftis lead all rookies in the NFL in quarterback pressures.

Hutchinson, a DE for the Detroit Lions, and Karlaftis a DE for the Kansas City Chiefs have made the list of top rookies in QB pressure this season. Karlaftis leads the way with 17 while Hutchinson is just behind with 15.

Hutchinson, a prominent and highly rated defensive player from Michigan is no stranger to the accolades, receiving the Lombardi Award, Ted Hendricks Award, and a runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in his senior season at UM.

Karlaftis, another highly skilled defensive end from Purdue, is often recognized for his skills on the field. He was one of five finalists for the Ted Hendricks Award and was a semi-finalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award, in his final season with the Boilermakers.

Karlaftis has a solid 17 pressures to his name this season, leading the board for rookies in defense. With Hutchinson right behind him at 15. Another Big Ten standout is on the list, outside linebacker Arnold Ebiketie who previously played at Penn State.

Ebiketie currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons with 14 total pressures.
